     Do I have to pay for anything?
    Exchange-it is a free service, and will always be a free service. Members generate free advertising by placing an Exchange-it banner in their web page. Members have the *option* to purchase additional advertising impressions for their account.
     
     Do I need to put a banner on my webpage?
    If you want free advertising you will need to place a banner in your web page(s). If you just want to purchase advertising impressions you will not need to put a banner on your web page. It is completely up to you :)
     
     How do I generate free advertising?
    To generate free advertising, you will need to place and Exchange-it banner in your web page. This is achieved by inserting a HTML code into your web page HTML. Here is an example HTML code;

    This code will generate a banner like the one at the top of this page. Just visit our "HTML code" page in Member Center after you join. With every visit to your web page with an Exchange-it banner, you generate .5 credits. Each credit is worth one free ad display of your advertising banner(impression).
     
     Are there any limits on the number of banners displayed a day?
    No, we don't have a limit on the number of banners displayed a day in your web pages for normal surfing of your web site. We do however, stop counting impressions if there are a significant number of banners displayed to a single person *in a row*. This means if you are the only person surfing your web pages, you may reach this daily limit. However, if you have other people surfing your pages, you should never notice this or trigger this feature. This feature helps protect our system from gross spammers, and maximizes the value of advertising on our banner exchange(including your advertising).
     
     How do I cancel my account?
    The only step necessary to cancel your account is to take your Exchange-it banner off of your page. Please email any comments or suggestions you may have to help us improve our service.
